Oak Knoll Villa
Napa Valley (USA)

Standing amidst the vineyards and hills of Napa Valley, Oak Knoll Villa locates the contemporary lifestyle in an exquisite balance of landscape and architecture.
The aim was to create a living-space that would be both intimate and open, with interiors extending seamlessly towards the outdoors and absorbing the Californian light at all times of day.
The home’s central concept is a strong continuity, both visually and in terms of materials: large sliding floor-to-ceiling windows break down the barrier between indoors and outdoors, enabling the rooms to run into a garden arranged around a large rectangular pool, a solarium and an outdoor kitchen with areas for relaxation and entertainment.
The distinctively furnished high-ceilinged interiors combine comfort with sophistication.
The overall mood is one of everyday wellbeing, in which architecture, landscape and style merge in an intense, very individual equilibrium.
PRODUCT USED
The entire project was created using the Carrière du Kronos collection, in the Bruges colour variant, chosen for its warm, natural shade and its distressed stone look, which gives the interiors a timeless, tactile elegance.
The same collection gives a coherent identity to all the house’s floors and paving, creating visual continuity between indoors and outdoors.
In the pool and patio area, the 60×60 and Block 20×30 sizes, in 2 cm anti-slip version, provide safety and uniformity for the outdoor areas.
Indoors, the entire ground floor is finished with the 60×60 and 80×80 sizes, maintaining a coherent architectural language throughout the project.
