Van der Valk Hotel

Beveren (Belgium)

At Beveren, the Van der Valk Hotel provides contemporary hospitality with beautiful interiors and services designed to ensure the comfort of guests.

The hotel maintains the legacy of the Van der Valk tradition, a family business founded in 1862, which has grown over time to become one of Europe’s more distinctive hotel chains.

With 204 rooms and suites and the dining options of its four restaurants, the hotel provides a full experience to support its accommodation offering.
The heart of its appeal is the large Spa&Wellness centre: indoor pool, relaxation areas and wellness pathways immersed in a warm, attractive setting created with lighting and surfaces that dialogue with water.
The area continues outdoors, completing a regenerating experience for enjoyment all year round.

PRODUCTS USED

The travertine-look Nativa collection in Tibur colour plays the dominant role throughout the Spa&Wellness centre, with the Vena version as the main choice.
The Falda variant is introduced in some parts of the sensory pathway as a tactile highlight within the composition.

The project deploys the 60×120 size, installed seamlessly on the floor and walls to ensure visual uniformity and maintenance of the mood across the various zones.

In the impressive indoor pool at the heart of the project, matter dialogues with water and light to create a warm yet contemporary ambience.

The many bespoke pieces ensure the immaculate beauty of every interior, enhancing the experience with tailored details and finishes chosen to integrate with natural ease.

In some selected areas, the Mini Baguette 3D mosaic is used as a decorative detail to give depth to walls and add fascinating light and shade effects to the lighting scheme.

The wellness pathway continues outdoors, completing a regenerating experience for enjoyment all year round.
